Married with five children, three cats and one very large dog S.R. Roddy lives happily in a small town north of Austin, Tx. She is an ordinary housewife who spends most of her day homeschooling her two remaining teenage children.

From a young age she discovered a deep love for books that has encouraged her vivid imagination and touched her romantic spirit. With the help and support of her family she spends her spare time writing with the desire to share her creativity with other readers like herself.

An avid reader, she will read any genre if she’s drawn to the story line. She enjoys a good mystery, but her true love is romance. It doesn’t have to be a HEA for her to enjoy it; at times she even prefers it not to be. Historical and paranormal romances have become her favorite over the years, each satisfying a need inside her to experience a new world and adventure.

Every Friday she spends a few hours of her time doing shout outs(#SO) and re-tweets(RT) of free and cheap books ($2.99 or less) as a way to support both authors, and the reading community.

She’s the author of a total of eight romance stories, spread out over three series. Each book contrasts in the level of heat or sweet. All her stories concentrate on true love and the choices you are sometimes forced to make.

Her first completed series is a contemporary romance that originally consisted of three short stories, which she combined into one book. Danes Family: The Complete Series follows the crazy romance of two brothers and the woman they love. While the first short story in the series, Lisa’s Halloween Surprise revolved around sweet, Ms. Roddy kicked it up a notch in the second half, Lisa’s Dreams giving the story a bit of humor and heat.

Her MacKay Series is an ongoing historical romance with paranormal elements. To date, it consists of the short novelette, Love in the Mist, that inspired the series and its follow up story, Mists Through Time. Book Three in the series, To Embrace a Highlander tells the love story of Conn, the youngest brother, and Fenella.

In 2014, she released Book One, for her new paranormal series, Volkoff Pack. Tonight’s Desire quickly became an Amazon best seller. This series is set in an alternate timeline to our own, in which paranormal beings exist. Each story revolves around the lives of different members of a werewolf pack. Book Two, Love’s Forbidden Embrace was released in Dec. 2014. The third book to be released in the series is actually a Prequel. A Fool’s Heart is set to be released March 2015. Book Three in the series, Love Combined, will be published later this year.
